Portrait Artist of the Week
The Lockdown version of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year began on the 26 April 2020 with celebrity sitters being broadcast live on Facebook each Sunday for 8 weeks. The sitter was painted by a previous series winner, and both were joined live by presenter Joan Bakewell and the series judges, Kathleen Soriano, Kate Bryan and Tai Shan Schierenberg. The public were invited to join in and submit their portraits on Instagram using the hashtag #mypaotw.
I joined in from week 3 onwards.
